After we left Frank place we headed south again. We hit a few storage locker sales and another antique shop on the way. We pulled into Decatur Friday night. Unloaded the car and had a few adult beverages and then went to pick up some more beer and grab a bite to eat. We drove all over town looking for a liquor store and ended up at a grocery store to get some beer. The next day we found out that every damn gas station is a liquor store and there was one out our hotel door.

Live and learn I guess. We stopped and at Steak & Shake. We had never been to one and came highly recommend from Aaron. He was right it was a great value and was actually very good and no one got sick!
The next morning we got up and headed to the Pileup. It was a little strange standing the spectator line but man did they have that figured out. Once the gate opened the crowd flow was fast and next thing you know we were in. I saw Tom's car and Tyler's (flt-blk) too but never ran into either of them all day. That gives you an idea of the crowd. First thing was to get one of the limited edition posters that were for sale and a tshirt. Again this was a very short wait in line and was very organized. Next we hit the swap meet and before you knew it it was lunch time. So we grabbed a bite to eat at one of the many food vendors there. Then it was time to look at some cars. We made it about 1/2 of the way through them and we ran into Other Ryan. It was great to catch up with him and we got to check out the kick ass paint job he had just finished on his bike. It was hot but luckily we had a nice wind to keep us cool, still burned but oh well it beats being cold.
By the time we stumbled back to the car we were exhausted and ready to sit down for a bit. We met up with other Ryan for supper and did a little more catching up and then back to the hotel for some rest before our 13hr drive on Sunday. It turned out to be a very memorable Pileup and I will miss the show for sure.
enough with story time................... here are the pics.
