The Pink Lady is getting Stripped... and some old-skool windshield removal.  Let's just say I gave her the boot.  It was fun!

At this rate, I'll be ready for the chop in January.  Both my car and Stephan's car will be getting a lot of attention over Christmas break.  I hope to have the body completely stripped by Christmas, and then hopefully I'll have most of the metalwork done by the time school starts again in the middle of January.  I am lucky the paint was still on it.  This has been the first car I've stripped where I don't have to go through 1/16th inch of heavy surface rust to get to shiny metal.  It's been a joy.

The decklid had a factory recess for the license plate.  I didn't want it there, so I cut out the backside of the decklid and started to fix it.

I started shaving the door handles today.  Once I got the handles out I made a template, transferred that to metal, and welded it in.  I also filled the door lock holes and the stock antenna hole. Now on to the other side!
