I also drove Reeds car, the only issue I had was the column shift. In reverse and second it was fine, 1st and 3rd I hit my knee.
Build it so it works for you. It's like when you have a rock in you shoe, the 1st couple of steps it's not so bad but after a mile it hurts like hell.( I don't know why you walk a mile before you would stop ant take it out :roll: ) I have driven my A roadster over 800 miles in a day, my T is good for about 150 miles and that's with a break!! But I only had so much room to work with in the T and I knew it would never be a long distance cruiser.
