im going to have to agree with boristheblade, i need your autograph too.

i hope someday when i have a car, that i build it with the same amount of detail you have done with yours. its looks amazing. too bad its winter time now :(

Bringing this thread back from the dead! I am in SE Mn getting the top put on the 32. Jay Peterson is doing it and he is also the guy that made the seat and covered it. You may notice in the pics that the engine is missing. I had an oil leak I wanted to repair so I pulled it. After installing the new rear main seal I managed to crack two of the rings so it will be back together in a week or two once parts show up.

 We started on the top this afternoon I will update tomorrow night with more pics.

8)  Great!  To tell the truth....I've always thought roadsters (and converts) looked better with the top up.  A rear quarter shot always seems to have a certain "sinister" look to it.

Is that white pin-point convertible topping?

It is white pig skin with a black haartz liner.

Don't get me wrong.....there's nothing that compares with cruising (driving) without the top or top down (we've had four of 'em)....., but just sitting there, they have a good "hot rod/custom" look with the top up/on.  Only use the side curtains if you have to though.....geez they are noisy! :)
