Thanks guys......

Here is a pic of what I did last night. I chopped the irons and clamped and taped the bows on. The second bow doesn’t fit for shit so I have to call today and see if it is for original irons or repops. The rear one still needs to be trimmed of 3 "  and there is about a 3 inch gap between the front of the windshield and the header......so this may be a little trickier than I thought it would be.

I told Kathy it looks like I am building a tree fort on top of the car.

It's hard to tell from the angle..........but it looks like the middle bow needs to come down some too.

I was at Topper's yesterday and saw it.  Very nicely done.  The details make it stand out from the others. You hit the right proportions; ride height, tires, etc.  The wife liked the job on the interior.

I had a similar set up with copper lines for the oil lines to and from the filter.  I had double flared ends.  Yours look similar.  After about 100 miles the flare broke off the end.  I have since put on steel lines. (brake lines)  If you are not using flared ends or figured in the work hardening of the flares, disregard my comments.  On mine, the return line viberates when it is running.  The lines for the carbs could get kinda ugly if they crack off.

Yea I am going to change the oil lines to steel after next weekend. I am going to run the fuel ones in copper. I am a little nervous about it but they should not have much vibration but time will tell. Mine are a single flare.
