Damn flathead distributor, got to be pretty good at pulling the distributor that day!

Yep stock front mount. If I remember correctly I didn't have the point mounting plate snapped in exactly right under the snap ring. It kept cutting out, then it did the exact same thing on the way home but then I just had not tightened the wire on the distributor very tight one of the dozen times I had it off that day.

I can't believe the roadster has been on the road that long.  Makes me sad realizing how long I've been driving the 59.  Time to get that couple on the road!!
