I ran a drill bit into my finger today...
the small bits go right through a leather glove
it was the type of thing you say F*CK to yourself as its spinning into your bone.
Then everything gets real quiet, the blood starts squirting out your fingertip and you bite your tongue as you run for the first aid kit spilling drops of blood across the shop floor...
deep wounds have a fantastic deep pain sensation... like a throbbing tooth ache where the paint travels up your neck into your brain so you cant think...
all this because nobody carries a replacement plasma tip in PINE CITY, MN... or Forest lake... or anywhere in the cities. Of course the company went out of business...
so I was trying to drill out the tip... that my friend PLUGGED UP...
I thought to myself it might happen as I was doing it and it did... you DUMB A"S Tuck... there it was in my Blanking finger spinning... GOD DA*N IT It still gives me the willysTM after the fact...
So I logged on the hamb and I swear to god... its kinda empty feeling... especially with this remember when stuff people posted about the hamb...
made me think of the X-TOPPERS tm...
Oh well.

I got radiant heat in the shop- I flamed a helmet yesterday and it was dry in a hour- dry enough I sanded and buffed it and it was out the door... WTF, why didn't I get a radiant heater a LONG time ago...
its warm in here, amazing... last year I was down to half the shop in two dysfunctional stalls... sick as fuck and mad at the world. Not this winter...
I started up the build of my hot rod now that things settled down... I post shit on the hamb and everyone dumps this or that. I dont wanna post anything, I'm just gonna build it and show up with it DONE at some show-
Money is a major hang up, either that or time, so I do what I can with my time and what I can with money- either way I have a big list of shit to do.

I got some new emery for my buffer and damn does it polish steel up in a hurry-
I got a weiand drag star with 6 MINT Stromberg's... I found a wieand remote thermostat houseing to go with it. I'm polishing all of it. Owning nice strombergs makes me want to sell all of my 94's... they SUCK. They don't look half the part of a Stromberg. They look so cool, the mechanics of them...
I finally found a sixties oil filter reallocator too... I pretty much have all the hard to find stuff now.
I bought those speedway slicks but I'm not gonna run them... I like the way they look but I hate the RETREAD over a radial... I think I'm gonna buy the radir whitewall slicks, the 7" tire.
have you guys found anything cooler?? anything other than Radir thats not a recap?
I'm making my own pedals... I have a buddy that punches tread plates for john deer. They have some crazy punch patterns, so far hes brought me about 4 different styles. I'll post pics when I'm done... but you can put a large pattern over a smaller pattern plate and it looks so trick- and they'll rule in chrome.
If any of you guys need some of this stuff let me know... some of its thick plate... he said when it gets punched the cement floors shake with a sub woofer vibration... BOOM.
