Sorry to barge in here w/o an intro, but I need some help. I'm looking for any info on the '73 Chevelle thats sitting in front of the shop. I now its not traditional, but I figured you guys&gals would have the sweet hook-ups, and I promise to post pics of the stuff I'm working onand an intro.
 TIA, Matt

Most likely, Wowcars/Ryan would have some info for you but they left yesterday to IL for the Hunnert Car Pileup.

They may end up having internet once they get there later today. If not, I'm sure you'll hear back on Monday-ish.

Hey Eberhama, sorry to tell you that the car that is in front of (what was) Aurora was a customer car. The shop was going to restore it for a guy but then the shop went out of business. I know the guy has had it for many many years and is very attached to it. I highly doubt that it would be for sale. Sorry.

Now, lets see some pics!

Thanks for the info wowcars, any chance you could the the contact info for said customer(or who to talk to that would know? For 5 years, the only thing car-related thing my father-in-law would talk to me about was his old '73 chevelle, and how I should keep my eyes open for one like his old one. I saw that one sitting there, and thought I found one "just like his", but upon closer inspection, I believe its IS his old one. Any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks, Matt

ps: pics of current projects in the newbie section.

I will try to get the name of the guy that owns it. It has been sitting for about 15 years in a garage behinde Micks Office. Now that Aurora is closed down, it might be harder for me to get the info, but I'll see what I can do.

Hey guys & Eberhama,

The guy that owns the 73 Chevelle in front of the old Aurora Rods & Customs building is VERY attached to his car and won't part with it.

FOR THE RECORD...

"The rumors of my death have been highly exaggerated".

Aurora is NOT closed down.  We are actually in the process of moving to our new shop in Dilworth on Hwy 10.  Due to shenanigans by Northwestern Bank (our lender), we were forced to move out of our building.  We have done so and are continuing to work on street rods with our loyal staff.  We are not going anywhere.

Please feel free to call me if you want the entire story of why we had to move (or just wait until you read about it in the paper).  My phone is 701-367-8826.
