Ok, I bead blasted and painted the wheels. On one of the 16' x 4" it has a date of 2-11-42. This was after we entered the war and before the shut down of car manufacturing. My guess is it changed( wider wheels)  after the end of the second WW. The two 15" x 5" I'm going to run on the back, which match the design of the 16" x 4" do not have build dates on them. I think they are from a fifty's something pickup.
