Weddings, The Granny Run, and some bad luck..
« on: August 15, 2005 2:41 am »
My wedding went off without a hitch, alot of people showed up , had a great time, and got some beutiful gifts.  The T ran well for the trip for my dad to drop me off at the church and to take My wife and I for a quick tour of town and to the dance. heres a small video of it if you cart to see it. just a small trailer of me, the car, and my wife.

Had a BLAST at the granny run.  Hung out with Eyeball and TomH, had some great food, saw curt leslies woodie(haha), and just had a great sleep deprived day.

now for the bad luck part of it, between the 1st and 2nd stop on the bar(poker run) run, the 8" in the T gave up the ghost. sheered a few teeth off the pinion/ring gear im sure.  Ill tear into it tommoro.  Anyone got a spare 8" center cection theyd sell?

Other than some bad oil leaks(cheapo offy valve cover) it ran real well. get the rear end fixed, and so on and it will be marginally driveable.  gotta get some good tube shocks on the front and panhard bar on it i think to make it mandle a bit better.  its a never ending deal.

After the T broke down i got a ride from some guy from fargo in a really nice 39 deluxe coupe.  He dropped me off, anne rode with tim.  well i got dropped off at the park a ways from the truck, and anne and tim come riding in, thinking that im in town or something, and anne gets in the truck and takes off without me.  so here i am, with the steering wheel in my hand, and no T, and no truck.   So i start walking to town , steering wheel in hand, to find my vehicles.  as i get oput of the park and up to the higheway, here comes tim in the A, laughing at me walking down the hiway.  hahahahaha, they finally figured out i wasnt in the bar i guess.                :D

ill get some pics poosted here tommoro morning. i took a ton of them.

gotta take a nap before work.

Peace

Aaron

I left right after supper. Headed to that gas station on the corner of 1 and 46. Pull up, stick the nozzle in and a few dribbles come out the end of the handle.........so I glance up at the building and sure as shit it is locked up. So I call my dad to warn him I may need assistance. I head for Enderlin taking it easy as EVERY other car from Fargo passed me. So anyway I pull into Enderlin, turn down a side street. I pulled up next to a car sitting in the street and asked where the gas station was. He pointed and said that guy there is going to  show me. So we were both out of fuel.....I followed them up town and pumped 9.97 gal. into the 10 gal tank, thanked God a few times and headed for home.

Anne and I left after dinner also.  I was so tired i worked the night before and hadent slept all day, so there is now way i would be able to stay awake much longer after the few beers we had and dinner. i passed out in the truck on the way home, and didnt wake up till we hit my driveway.

i had an absolute blast, glad TIm and Tom showed upo, cause i didnt know many other people there. Was a great time hanging with you guys, cant wait to do it again sometime.

You should call and make and appointment, I had to. They do it in the back shop. Let me know when you are coming to town and I may be able to sneak over there.

Yea it was great hanging around you guys this weekend. Too bad you aren't closer to Fargo. If you can set your appointment up for a Wednesday night you can come to cruise night.
