53 and 54 buick skylark convertibles are serious high dollar cars...my buddy in pa who works a resto shop has one in the shop and the owner has dropped 50K in it so far...and it isn't done.  The specific upholstery fabric was 1700 alone, not including the top material.

There is a good chance the owner will pass away before it is done.

Sorry I should clarify for people who aren't in on the story.  The guy who bought the power seat mechanism out of my car has a 54 CHEVY convertible, and while we're looking at my car he is telling me about his, and he goes to me, "you know what those 54 Chevy convertibles are worth?" Me not wanting to offend the guy who's about to give me $400, I avoid answering the question, and he says, "$64,000"

I was right to keep my mouth shut.

Tok. Will it make you sick to learn there is a '53 Skylark in a junkyard by Fargo? Cuz there is.
