1938 Ford Flathead - First $50
« on: May 27, 2011 7:21 am »
Block has been magnafluxed, only one hairline crack in very center of block from the bottom of the V shaped coolant passage to the head stud bore. Its rusty- motor is stuck including pistons, crank, and valve/lifter assemblies. Removed the cylinder head studs for magnafluxing, a half dozen are broken off in the block. Comes complete with oil pan, distributor, aluminum single 2 barrel intake, flywheel, etc. You can have both cylinder heads if you can get one of them from Joel.

Engine is presently in my shed North of Pelican Rapids so interested parties get to roadtrip with me up there to go look at it and survey my roadster.

The good thing about this engine is you know the block decks and seats are not cracked. First $50 takes it. Don't have pics at this time.
The problem with having an artistic eye is that you always end up making more work for yourself. -Cleatus on the HAMB
