57 Ford project progress
« on: February 22, 2011 4:40 am »
Finally got my heads back from being freshened up and reinstalled em the other night...Been slow going this winter, too darn cold and too darn lazy...the 272 looked really good inside, been bored over .40 thou, and didnt really have any ridge. I think someone did a shortblock rebuild without touching the heads. The heads were the good ECZ-G's. So eventually they'll go on the 292 unless I can score a cheap 312. Enjoy the picts....

Thanks for the info Jake, I called and they werent able to get one but the gal gave me two other numbers from the Twin Cities area and I can have one delivered for 375.00. So, i guess I have to retract the anti-ford statements. Thanks again Jake...

That's the great thing about forums like this one, the HAMB, Ford barn and others...got a question and someone will give some info that helps. Plus us Ford guys need all the help we can get.

You must be getting weak in your old age...

Not that weak..........I rode my Schwin Air Dyne 1800 miles last year, so at least I can run away from most guys that are  around my age. I guess I didn't want to aggravate any of your health issues and feel responsible for that. ;D
Will we see you on  Ron's garage tour he has set up for March 5?

I'm actually going to be in BisMan next Wed-Sat morning for the Auto Body convention. Was going to give you a call. I might hit the VC part of the garage tour, but not sure of the rest. Does anyone have a copy of the tour they could email me? I haven't seen one.
