well I still haven't gotten anything fixed yet from last summer, ie: brake lines, master cylinder, front brakes, wheel bearing (again, maybe), front suspension, alignment, and tires. all adds up to a lot more than I got right now. but hopefully i can get it done for 50's. just isn't the same w/o a car :(

we will see, as now I have a ton more on my plate with buying a house and trying to do all that, and working 60+plus hrs/wk ...yikes!

the 51 is looking really nice though, and keep up the good work! cant wait to see it on the road!!

Joel put in a call in search of some 1949-50 Pontiac side trim for me and found 3/4 of a set. It sounds a little rough but should clean up.

Deuce, I forgot about your new place, I'll have to check it out next time I'm in town. Hope the Poncho comes together for 50s!

A long overdue update.
New rockers are in. All patch panels except the nasty upper quarter, are welded in. Mocking up my floor supports now and will be starting on floors this week once the seat is in its finalized position. Found a full set of 50 Pontiac Side trim, a set of 56 Buick Caps, and a 54 or Trifive Chev one piece bumper for the rear. Rings have been made for my taillight lenses and will be mounted once I get the side trim so they are all centered and lined up.
Once the floor is done Im focusing on the mechanicals and hoping repair the metal thats left and to spot primer as it is driving.

I'm liking the vision with the trim, caps, and bumpers. Still a bellybutton car though :D

The seat mounts held stefan and my fat ass.  He did a good job making them and welding them in, floors are coming along nicely, he's still working on them I'll snap a photo for him when he's done for the night.

It was a great weekend of work from Fergus to Fargo. Picked up my trim, it will need some splicing but now I can mount my taillights. One more session of floor work and they will be ready to get coated in some paint.

Oh, and thanks Antibling for the camera work and for toting us around in the 54 on our lunch excursion.

Did some grill work with the help of Pinstriper this past Sunday and a little bit more yesterday. Can't decide if I want to leave the chrome upper or mold in some tube to be painted body color.

Floors are done and painted. Just need to get some gasket material for the MC cover and Trans Hump.

I'd find a upper that's in better condition and leave it chrome.  Flows very well with the bar.
