I am not planning on going to speed week. I may try to make it out for the World Finals again.

Which is the better of the two to attend, Speed Week or World Finals?

speed week
hot temps
more street driven rods
$200 hotel rooms

world finals
cool temp
few street driven rods
$54 hotel rooms.

both are great racing events.
some say there is a better chance of the world finals getting rained out.
I prefered the world finals, less people.

It depends on who you ask, and they both have their plus and minuses.

I like the sound of less people and cheaper rooms!

It's about the same price as I have been paying at the Super 8 / Americans Best.

The Nugget bough the Red Garter and in the process of moving from the old computer to the new my reservations got lost...........So I won't be going. This is not a problem as I will take my vacation and money I would have spent and use it towards getting the 4d ready for the pile up.

I asked if they still have $2.99 breakfast and they said they still do.
