if you use the bill of sale from the state it has a place for the nortry to fill out

Thanks for looking into this guys.  I'll do some checking at the local DMV as well.

Yes, I know I should have gotten the title earlier, but since I had the HP over and inspected and issued me a NDID# and plate I thought I'd be OK till it was time to hit the road.

I still haven't heard from the email I sent the motor vehicle dept in Bsmrk.

i walked in bill of sale and inspection in hand. then $37 dollars later i have a title in the mail

i guess not.  she said i could use my year of mgf plate(she didnt know if i could restore it) seem if the inspection is in order you good

the plate can be restored, but must be approved by the director(motor vehicle)

What if the seller is dead?  The previous owner of my '50 passed and I never did get a bill of sale or anything. Im confused, I figured I just get it inspected by the HP (when finished) and take the form to the DMV and get license, registration and title.  So I assume you can get just the body inspected? Maybe I'm missing something. When we did the wife's Plymouth we told them that it was a gift from her grandpa (shhhhhhhh) and didn't have to come up with a bill of sale.
...And if you call in the next 20 minutes, cause we can't do this all day...

I believe they accept either a bill of sale or a statement of ownership form.

What does a statement of ownership form contain?  I don't have a bill of sale.

well i got the title yeasterday. only took 6 weeks.  lists it as a 1930 ford pick up.
insted of model A it's listed as model and i think they put in the one ton curb wieght 4125lbs
