With the snow we've had this winter, I thought you might get a kick out of this old pic.

The year is 1941...my Mom & Dad's old Ford on a country road south of Crary, ND.

I can bet at some point someone said "Floor it!"...it's amazing the kind of crap those old cars made it through...and people wonder why they used to be so tall...

Hey Jake, Hope you don't mind me posting some pics from this weekend. There was a car show this weekend so I got the roaster out and DROVE to and back from the show in Mandan. When some of you were at my shop in you saw the snow drift.........well it's bigger!!

Reminds me of March 1966!!  Tom will remember that one.  Starting to get a little nervous around here remembering '96-97.

Tom....you could just carve out some snow and have another storage shed.

My experience (and memory) is that if you were deep into cars, you probably weren't into that other "stuff".

That's true Jake.........we would meet young ladies and some would ask are you a car guy or.........?? ( whatever they were calling a stoned out MF at that time.)

and I do remember `66!! Stuck on the farm for 3 days with your brothers and sisters, even though there was a blizzard you still went out and did chores.

we walked about 8 blocks to the store in south grand forks, and car antennas were about up to our knees!!

we could see some of the cars under the snow
