My 28 Sedan Inspiration

this is what i wanna do, Full Fendered, finished.

Might not end up with a Hemi, although it would be nice.

whatcha think?

Thanks  Jake,  Yep, jack Chrismans car..  i was looking for that pic, i wanna do the Vondutch radiator screen too, and have Harvey the Rabbit painted on the back too...

Yea I really like that.

On a side note, I have never liked the look of a 32 windshield in an A but for some reason this one pulled it off.

`28-`29 A tops are made up of lots of pieces, to get them to seal up can be a bitch. Looks like this guy has that covered, I like it!! I like it a lot!!

To run a full fendered A with a hood and a HEMI and still have some room for you to fit inside is going to be tough. You might want to rethink you choice of engine.

I dont have a hemi, so i doubt it will end up with one, unless one just falls into my Lap.

with a hood it wont really matter anyways..

Here's the "A" I built and drove in the '80's.  Note the color of the top....white pinpoint convertible top vinyl.  Chrismans A was the inspiration.

Drove it 5 years in primer and never did paint it.  Guess I was a suede way back then.  :)

It's a '31 with '29 front fenders.  I never have liked the 30-31 fenders.  

Had some great times with wife and 3 kids to most runs.  The pic is from '87 at the Mid America Nats which was in Sioux Falls at the time.

I agree!! Best thing you can do to a `26-`27 T also. ( if your going to run fenders)

Did you cover the upper a-frame holes??

Kick ass sedan, choped top, `49-`50 caps, nice legs. :P  :)

   How about a Ford Flathead?  What ever happen to the one you had for sale a few years back? I knew I should have bought it.  Anyway, I think Brian Bass' coupe has a '32 windshield in it too. Looked pretty good if I remember.  Good luck, always liked the full fendered A's.  Was thinking on doing one myself.

Nothing against the Bass car (it kicks ass) but parked next to the Green Grenade that Loudpedal put together, no contest.  To me it looks like the visor blew off, but if all hot rods looked that same that would be a shame.

I dont care for the windshield on Brian Bass's Car, Everything else about that car is Tits...


I agree with you Jake, 28/29 Fenders are the way to go..

A's need Visors, thats all there is to it.


The only way they look good with the 32 w/s is with it cranked out all the time...

I see that car had Holey fenders,  Mustang 2?

did you RPU have a MII also, just with bubbles in the fenders?

you never see that truck anymore..  do you know where its at now?
