Mom and I took the Comet to brunch on Saturday. Brought it home to get the Neon for actual city driving and it was such a nice day that I just left the car uncovered. Came back 3 hours later, and someone had egged it. I was definitely not a science or physics major in college, but I was amazed at the trajectory of this egg. AND it must've been the biggest egg known to man. It obviously struck the passenger side windshield and somehow splatted back all the way across the entire hood and dripped down into the vents and across the driver's side headlights. Amazing. An experiment in kinetic energy and intertia.

I got it off in time, that stuff was like glue, but without any damage.

I hope those damn kids learned something. Poor Comet.

some people are just assholes.  I have been egged a time or two and it can be a bitch to get off after it dries.

I egged a buddies car in High School after he pulled some practical joke on me. I didn't break the eggs, tho. I just set two dozen eggs all over his car so it wouldnt do any damage :D

That sucks, at least you got it cleaned up before it did any damage.

. . .or freezes in the winter. My clear coat on the door of my buick is bubbling and flaking off from an egg.
