The weather? HOT, humid and a bazillion LARGE insects that I'm sure was intent on eating most of the HAMB in the LaQuinta parking lot. It was disgusting. But not enough to keep us from going in until 6am. :D

Ok, here we go. Looks like I saw a lot of the same cars that were at Bonneville.

Man, now I know how Eyeball felt.
Here we go again.

Look closely, pulling 3 FEDs at once...

Caddy vs. I6 Chebbie

For Ryan and Pete

Gorgeous.

Best use of Fauxmobile valve covers goes to:

Want this in my garage

Magnesium under double nickle

Action photographer

In the return lane

Justa clean '40. Had to capture it. At least for Tom and I

One for the "Off Brands"

Reminded me of something....

Nice Merc, just hate the taillights.

Favorite pic of the weekend.

My brain hurts.

Dirty2s magnificent deuce.

I drooled all over this thing.

Perhaps the most photographed scene all weekend. Note strategically placed Hot Dog. Gross.

Hotel room view.

This greeted us at the hotel.

Bitchin Stude hauler. Dig the wheel color.

This never ran the track. Pity.

Favorite car of the weekend.

Note Injected Oldsie

Yeah, that one.

Aaron Grote graced us with his presence.

Fell in love with this also

This was waaay kool. Suedes crown is just to the right. ;) (off of the pic)

Unloading the Gizzle Hopper to fill the lobby with spent funny fuel fumes.

This was kool. Custom Cord with a Caddy and Chrysler rear. Done in the 50s

Beauty.

Interesting Taillights on this Merc.

This is what I really wanted to see run. Elpolockos pickup. Twin turbos on BBC. I THINK it ran 9s after driving it there, but couldn't see the time for sure.

Yeah!

The star of the weekend.

Sport coupe in the back of a pickup for sale.

I think this is VonFrancos five window. Cant tell with the dark.

BigOlds was limped in....

LOVED this thing. Cool old guy drivin it too.

Lindross and his mighty Valiant.

Second favorite pic of the weekend. This thing was SPOT-ON. Even sliding plexi side glass.

BobK lining up.

Ghost with Three Hole Cindy delete.

Pic chock full of good stuff.

Spindle mounts baby!

Bitchin photo if not for the guy in the background.

Whew, I'm done. Lots of stories to tell, but better in person.

Sixinarow, you forgot the pic of me laying down in the gravel so I didn't pass out cold. If that answers your question, Tom :)

It was hotter than hell the day of the Drags, and the Indy guys took their tent down WAY too fast since none of their cars were up to par that day. So there went my shade. Not as hot as years past I've heard though. I just don't handle hot well.

For the record, Wowcars only stays up late when I force him to. He kept trying to puss out, JUST LIKE at the pileup last year. But I'm just too much fun. So he stayed up. Oh yeah and I whined whenever he said he was going to go to bed. So that helped.
