Man....That's a lot of stuff.  Would be a fun couple of days if it wasn't so far.  Some of the cars and parts look pretty decent too.

Tom - I talked to him this week and we are talking about next Tuesday or next weekend....he is going to let me know....he has a cabin in MN and is gone in the summer a lot.....he said he dug out more pictures and will be bringing them....I can't wait to see his stuff...hope its good.....I could let you know when and if you want we could head out to his place together.......It only took him 6 months for him to bring the pics :):):)

It's lovely old car and parts country down there.  I spent many a weekend in that area on "Automotive Archaeological" expeditions.  I have a good friend in Springfield that has tons of cars and parts, there is a huge scrap yard by Parker, lots of stuff everywhere in that area---and one of the best strip clubs anywhere---Swede's Bar in Lesterville.  After a long day gathering experienced auto parts, a stop at Swede's Bar for refreshment and entertainment was always the Highlight of the trip.  I would suggest it as a "must do" if in the area.   I give it a 6 "STAR" rating.  Bring Dollar bills.

I love the Springfield swap...my dad and I have been going for about 9 years.....they have some gerat stuff and the prices are not to bad.....I found a yard south of Springfield back in 99 and I have been stopping there every summer....most of his stuff is 60's on down so its nice just to walk through.......I am draging my dad to the HAMB drags this year so that will be fun to hang out there this year with him.  Last year I took my sister-in-law (shes 22 in college) and she said "Wow this is what real guys do!!!".....she said all her guy friends are into art and music and its nice to see "real guys" :):):):):)  There was a orange Henry J running and we were standing by him when he fired up and she couldn't figure out why her eyes were watering :):):):)

Reed - Maybe my wife will let me go to Swede's since I have to put up with the inlaws for a week and a half :):):):)



Tom - I will give you a call when he gives the ok to stop out....should be a good time and free beer :)
