I started the project just wanting to piece things together from Duane's vast collection of linkage arms and hardware. You know, raw function over form. Then I started to get picky and wanted it to look nice and uniform too. Sound familiar?   Duane was making fun of me for it, just like Joel does.

Somebody's gotta make fun of ya pete!  Looks great though!  It's nice to see you're doing something worthwhile in CA.  Did you get the other carbs and linkage yet?

I cleaned up all the carbs I got in the mail (ironic that I bought them from CA, shipped them to MN only to ship them back to CA). Two of the carbs (luckily, the large logos) are worth trying to get working. The other two are pretty sketchy. Eyeball said we could try the modified carbs on his T roadster, to thank you to him. I bought 4 no logo 97's and we're rebuilding them to stock to use with the 4 carb linkage. I bought a full race 324 cam on Sunday too.

Duane has all sorts of air cleaners. If anybody buys stacks I can bring them home with me. Duane, got pics of all the varieties?

Well, I am insanely jealous. It looks nice.  Good score on the cam.  Does it have rollers?  If you come across any Crager or Horne 4X2 or Edmunds 2X2, let me know  !

Chevy rollers are the same diameter. I ended up not purchasing carbs and linkage. Wisdom rears its head once in awhile. I'll get them eventually, but I should have an engine to put them on first. I'll let you know when I find your intake if you sell me a good 324 core, spare or no spare. When I do get my 324 done someday  its gonna be a wicked mother.
