What would you do with this?
« on: April 15, 2008 3:08 am »
Hey, this weekend at prime steel I ran into a friend of my dads and he was wondering if I would be interested in a 52 victoria.  I checked it out an hour ago (starting to get dark) but it looked pretty good, some rust in the normal areas but it really isnt bad.  The trim is all very straight from the beltline up and all the glass is good too.  I can get this thing cheap and I have a flathead that should run to put in it for the summer then maybe sell it.  Im not looking for a 52 ford (ive got other projects) but it could be fun just to beat around in.

My question is, what would you do to it on the cheap?  I was thinking maybe flat paint with a flaked roof but im not sure what colors.  I dont really want flat black.

Ideas?

I'd put that flatty in it, put some big dark blue 'flakes on the roof and leave the rest, roll the windows down and drive it!!

It needs to be saved, get it running, or at least get it inside a building so it doesn't go to hell or some SOB knocks the widows in.

Saw your rag top, bucket, and you at the GF show. Nice of you to bring your bucket in to help fill the show.

I'd just drop it off in the parking lot at 2104 14th Ave S in Moorhead.

Heres a hard top parts car for ya. Just west of Hendrum. Left side is pretty hammered, but the back glass is still there. I'm thinking its in the $100 range. Plus its got a neat-o grill guard.
