I need insurance for the wagon.
The past couple of quotes have been in the 100$ per month region.
I know im 20, I know the 4 speeding tickets aren't good.
But damnit, its a '73 Buick with liability only!
Anyone have a recommended agent?

You may be high risk, but I have had all of my collector car insured with Hagerty and I thought the rates were fair.  Give them a call, 1.800.922.4050.

with the hagerty collector car insurance, you have to have at least liability on another vehicle.

I'm low risk i guess (no speeding tickets nor accidents for my wife and I), and progressive is still the cheapest thru cindy trane in Pelican Rapids MN at Country Villa Insurance. About 500 bucks for six months for 2 1997 cars with full coverage. Add the chevelle for 300/year.  To me thats cheap. She's the only insurance lady I've ever had. Best rates I've ever found, and thats including military insurance.

So you're saying you don't have insurance on it right now?   :)

Bruce Karevold here in Fargo, an American Family agent, has been mine and my parents agent for years.  Extremely good rates, and I have had my 60 Caddy, 55 Ford, 48 Chevy, and 61 Caddy all insured with him.....he never looked at any of the cars.  I just told him that I wanted a $10,000 full coverage policy....done and done!

i checked w hagerty and with 2 cars and both modified it was over $500 and tried to cut some coverage and he would not back down
went to my american family agent and got full coverage on a fabricated car titled 2000, no photo no hassel, got a few others through them and had onley 500 deductible  for $260 yr for $15,000 value,  I did not really need insurance on a incomplete car

no use to spend all the crusing $$ for insurance

It is better to have an agent who wants detailed pics.  That way there will be no question about the value in the case of a loss. I have had good luck with Hagerty.

looks like senile drivers   are rated up there with young speeding drivers
at least some of you are getting a good rate

another problem is a "modified" car so if you got a stocker with onley cosmetics and no engine swap you are beter off
