the 54 pickup is at my buddies house right now, i just gotta locate a trailer so i can go pick it up. so i really dont have pics of it right now, as soon as i do i will post them.  the truck is complete from the cab forward, unfortunately there is no bed right now, not quite sure what i will do with that but not too worried about it right now. its a 5 window, already been chopped, new floors, firewall, the whole shootin match. its just in pieces and needs to be put back together, jeez if only all of our projects started out this easy!!! the truck comes with two rolling frames, one a longbed early 80's chev 2wd, the other a 70 chev shortbed 2wd.  basically the 80s suspension will be transferred to the 70 rails, with some ground clearance enhancements (actually ground clearance elimination) the plan is to keep it SIMPLE yet CLEAN.  plans right now are for  283 power, hopefully otherwise i have a 292 6cyl laying around, or a 322 nailhead but that one needs a little more $$$ than i am finding in my couch cushions these days.  well i would obviously need to put some vintage speed parts on it! so there you have it.  i can try to put up some pics of the Poncho, but if you want to you can just cruise over to www.myspace.com/deucekustoms and you should be able to see the pics up there.  all for now.  DEUCE

yeah i just checked on First Ave's website, it is this tuesday the 7th.  that sucks that its on a weeknight, but what the hell can you do, but the Reverend is gonna play First Ave. on Saturday the 11th of this month, with murder by death, they are a kickass band, saw them last time the Reverend was here, unfortunately we got kicked out before the Rev. went on! oh well, i will be sure to see them that wknd. if you can make it down that would be sweet.
