Wow the ladder bar set up looks great! I also like the spring spreader idea.....didja think of that one yourself?

As far as I know the spring spreader is an original idea. I've got the chassis 90% done and am trying to get up the energy to get the sheetmetal shaped up a little. Fixing the body isn't my favorite thing,but no one else is going to do it for me. I'd be willing to do some pathetic begging if that would make someone feel sorry enough to come and do it for me.   :cry:

Yeah,I saw it on Evels' car,but the first one was at the Pile Up. It was in that super low roadster from Indianapolis. The one with the canvas top that he had doped with fiberglass resin. That's another idea worth stealing. It's pretty hard to do something original with so many really creative builders out there. What I'm saying is I copied the guy from Indy,not Evel!

no i'm not saying that  parts of evels would be bad to copy. i'm gonna use thos bent lader bars.  and hey you did it befor vol5 came out

Nope, he did the subframe on the Buick and installed the 2link rear suspension in it...

Well,after a long wait the A is back under construction. I plan to keep on it until it is drivable. I'm reinforcing the body with some steel and finishing a lot of the things that were partly done. Here's a few pics.
