The other night I painted the inner decklid and the underside of the body. I shot the decklid first and then shot the body. The overspray settled on the decklid and turned it into a non skid surface. :x So last night I sanded it down to reshoot it but deiced to try my hand at buffing instead cuz I know I will have to do it on the body and wanted to get a "feel" for it. I used way to aggressive paper since I was planning on respraying it so there are some scratches that didn't come out but they are on the inside of the decklid and may be covered by interior at some point anyway.

Well the body is in paint!
This was by no means the first paint job I have done but so far it looks like the best one thanks to all the help from Overspray. Pics soon.

As I posted above. I painted the inside of the deck lid already so I painted the top first as well as the inside of the doors.

Pinstriper noticed a big piece of something in the sealer so I tried to remove it unsuccessfully and then tried to cover my tracks and ended up doing a "flow check". I called "THE KING" for advice and he felt it was best to let it dry and try to sand it out. I baked the body @ 165 for 45 min and then let it cool for about 4 hrs. I was able to sand out the run as well as any dust particles that had settled on the top of the car. I decided to wait until Sunday morning to spray the color.
