OK time for an update. Things changed on the front end. I decided to go with the old style tie rod ends that use the balls. I found a stock 32 drag link on the ford barn and then a guy off the HAMB came up with a stock 32 pitman arm. I have one re-pop ball on it and the taper is a little larger than original so I am looking for one (1) steering ball if anyone has one. Here is a pic of the steering in mock up.

Now take peak at the above picture and look at the wishbone. See the big weld on it. The wishbone had been cracked before and fixed it was also dragged on the ground so the ball was only 1/2 there and some of the meat was missing from the bottom of the arms them selves. In the following pics you can see where I had to repair them. I sacrificed a Model A wishbone for the parts I need and it did turn out better then I had hoped.

You can also see in the pics the ball mound that I made using parts off the 38 xmember, some scrap metal and the tranny mount. It is now one piece and is removable if need be.

Here's one of those rare "green" 32 drag links.

Here are a few update pics. I have the radiator mounted ( I hope in the right spot). Motor mounts are welded in too. I just need the rear frame horns now (Todd?) then I can blow it apart and get it blasted. I pulled the weels off it last night and took the tires off so I can have them blasted and powder coated.

See Tim. See Tim go! Go Tim go! Wow,that is what you call going for it! I'm really impressed with the rate of progress on the '32. It's really helping me stay motivated on my A. I just can't match the pace though. Really enjoy seeing the progress pics. So Tim, do you ever sleep?

So Eyeball, I went over and hung out with Pete for a few hours the other day, and he told me of the unfortunate demise of a certain Hemi block that spent a few hours in my truck.  What happened man?

Big hammer and little paciants. It looks like I will have to sleeve two of the cylinders if the block is good.

Ouch.  How are the internals?  Did you get both motors torn down?

No only the one that was open. I managed to save 3 rods the rest are junk but the crank looks good.
