Didn't get too much done this weeked. I fought my water heater all day Saturday but did finish up the exhaust. I ordered POR15 exhaust coating in black. I think I will try to get it coated this week. Sunday I got the rear shock mounted and the arms bent to fit. They are mounted in the stock location but are front shocks for a 46-48 Ford.

Tim, do you have all your brake hardware inside that drum already? Thought I read somewhere just lately that the old non juicer drums dont clear the cylinders. Prolly was the 36 wide fivers, but not sure, jus curious. Looking really good and era correct.

No I have not put them together. I do have them on my 27 and they work fine. There is always storys about different combos not working but I have not run into any problems yet.

Eyeball- The exhaust system looks killer- I'll have to examine it personally to see what I have to do between the headers and frame/pedals.  I agree with Racer on the fact that your ladies should get together for tea.  my sister could learn a lot from mrs. eyeball.  Lookin' good though!

The frame is now apart and waiting to go to the sandblaster. I also took the rear end apart to check the bearings and gears. Evey thing looks pretty good so I am going to send the rear to Watertown, SD to have Randy Gribble assemble the quickchange for me. I painted the axle tubes last night with enamel paint, 7:30 am I checked them..... still wet! I hope they dry by Saturday.

I also finished welding up and grinding the spring perch/shock mounts. I had to shorten them too on the threaded end as they were made so you can use the bolt on lower shock mount. Now they look like originals or at least close enough.
