what is this?

can someone tell me what these pieces are for off a model A. it looks to me that it belongs around the door latch area. have a left and right of this piece.

They mount to the roof in the door opening.  I guess they could be called an upper sill moulding.  The square opening goes to the rear and a rubber guide bumper mounts there.
