Hey guys,
I'm a freshman at NDSU, moved up to fargo like four days ago from Rochester MN.  Not too far, but not much fun to make the 6 hour drive either.  I'm majoring in Mechanical Engineering, and have spent the last 5 years building a '64 Ford F-100.  Anything Else ya'd like to know?

Welcome..... I am up to my eyeballs in a '64 f100 myself. I am doing a 460/c6 swap.

ya, pics would be cool. 6 hours is a long way to drive to work on your project too. Are you going to try to find a place to work on it up here?

No hating now, I was a freshman when I started, and have learned a lot since this project began.  I'll try to get more pics when I go home next weekend, as it came out of the paint booth and is being assembled right now.  It's a highschool shop class project, and almost everything has been done thanks to very generous sponsors.  Its a '64 F-100 Chopped about 3" Fatman Mustang II front end, 350 Chebbie, 150 wet shot, 9 inch rear, Tea's interior, and will hopefully getting air ride this winter, depending on what gets done. Be gentle now, the style was determined by voting, but regardless - i've put a shitload of hours into it.

For my own project, I am not quite sure yet.  I have two demo cars that I need to figure out what to do with before winter.  But hot rod wise, I pulled a 331 Hemi out of the scrapyard, and that has been at the machine shop for a year and a half now I believe.  I checked into it and there has been a change of staff, and the block should be coming back to me pretty soon, after which I will know if it is useable or not.  I would really like to do an RPU with a removeable hardtop, but only time will tell.  I know of a certain '34 Iternational PU, but I just don't have any place to store or work on it.

Thanks - I've learned a lot about quality through this truck.  Literally everthing on this truck has been done twice because we weren't happy with the way it turned out the first time. Our instructor writes the articles, then the vulgarities and various impolite jokes get edited out.  It's funny to read the versions that he writes and what comes back in the Linechaser every month.
