21 Stud Flatty
« on: August 04, 2006 4:36 pm »
Just gotta gloat a little... last night I aquired my third running flatty from a old buddy. A 21 stud from a  factory welding unit, its an original industrial version complete wit govenor and funky air cleaner... just what I was looking fer for my T tub...turns over nice, and the guy said he ran it last summer when he took the welder portion off fer his brother. This same guy has a tudor 40 deluxe with a 8rt flatty that his dad gave him. A real survivor...The old guy also still has a 55 cad eldorado ragtop that came from the factory with two fours. Was a pretty crazy nite...Weed

Didn't want to take anything away from your night so I waited a couple of days. The night you got the flatty I drove Oversprays flathead powered model A coupe. What a rush I need to get a coupe built!!!

Does this mean the coupe in the rafters is coming down?

Love to get started on the coupe, but need to redo the '40.

Tim how about you drive the Merc and I drive the '40 to b'ville in two years. Now that I might be able to do.
