"Jo" Fuchs
« on: March 23, 2006 11:54 pm »
Jerry Fuchs came into the shop today to let us know his wife "Jo" had succomed to cancer on Sat night. She had been feeling sick since last fall and, through tears, told us about her last few days at the hospital. She got to say goodbye to most everyone and quietly passed after everyone had left the room, as she wanted. I had no idea until now, and assume a lot of other dont, either. If you don't know Jerry or Jo, they drove the radically chopped and yellow '59 Dodge with the Caddy drivetrain. If you see Jerry this weekend, I'm sure he would appreciate your support.

Yup, the Dodgillac.  I don't know that I ever met her, but Jerry stuck around at a few of our cruise nights to shoot the breeze.  They used to drive the wheels off of that thing hitting KOA and KKOA events around the US.

Yeah, I remember see that car at Americacruse at Lincoln NB one year and several other places. I know what he looked like, not sure if I ever met her. I'll have to keep that in mind if I see him this weekend.
