Clone my ass  No body mods what so ever. Mine is nose and decked, chopped top, no door handles, vent windows removed, headlights sunk and shrunk, gas filler moved of the rear fender, side trim on hood from rear 1/4 of a two door sedan. That one is stone stock except for the dash. Your right I'm going to use caddy caps ( '57ens not sombrero ) '49 license guard and Impala wheel.

Still f#%kin with the front wheels. I narrowed them 1/2" so they would miss the tie rod ends and I could run wheel weights on the inside. Mounted up some old tires ( wide whites still on order) last night, took it for a spin rim rubs on the top A frame when I turn sharp. @#%!!!! The good news is they don't rub on the fender like they use to!! Should be able to grind the A frame so it will clear.

Yes, I had to grind off the lip where the wheel weights hook on to and add rings from '49-'56 chevy rim. I had them left over from another wheel project. Oh and the pics???? Didn't take any yet, and when I do someones going have to walk me through getting them from the camera on to the purter.
