Didn't some of the EIR's go? If so what did we miss. Rapid City had their show also this passed weekend. I guess not to much Rod and Custom stuff there.

I was going to go but I sold my Fairlane. The dude that bought it came and pick it up on Saturday. Weed is the only one that I know that went.

Yea, I went, had to take a Model A rear crossmember up to Don Ladner. Was more impressed with Dons stuff in his shop than I was with the show. Usual chevelles, novas and independent front sprung rods wit pretty paint. Whole north side of arena was full of roundy- roundy cars and beat up 4-wheelers. Did have a few nice tri-five chevs though. Also, Bill Shriock had a pretty nice Merc there that was pretty much over the top, it was chopped and the whole ass end of the body would raise up with hydraulic cylinders, not really my style, but it did have a hemi in it though. The highlite of the whole day was when I went out to the old car yard east of town, the dude there let me in and I snopped for couple a hours, found some possible goodies for the 39 coupe. So not a total waste of day...Weed

Yeah, that why I haven't been up in years. Not really my kind of car show. Having been the show chairman for the Bismarck show for 14 years I know what their up against. You end up with so many of the same cars year after year.

Now why did Don need a model A cross member? Last I saw he was working on try five Chevy's.

I think the problem with me is you guys ruined me with taking me along to the Pile-UP, now all these local shows seem to bling-bling...hahaha...
Don was collecting parts fer a fellow from Rapid City who is supposedly building a sorta rat A. Dons son lives in Rapid and these guys are buddies I guess. Don is still building tri-fives. Just finished a nice 57 wit Vette suspension and motor. Hes currently building a 58 Vette as a rod...Weed
