I am considering moving my springs as well. I was going to do that on my 55 when I had it but the axle flip did the trick on that one. It will be a pain to do with the body on but oh well.

dude bad ass its going together...

HEY
I'm thinking more about Zing the back....  By Zing I'm gaining that much I wouldnt have to NOTCH.

I'm going to do it so I raise the wheel tubs too 4" it'll be alot of work but the car will be on the ground with little issues... its like building a hot rod.

I'll Z it right in front of the spring pearch and stack it just like I did in the front.  The frame will look crazy but inside you can "hide" it all behind the seat and the trunk floor would only raise up flush to the trunk opening.

I think im down for this.

IM NOT A STREET RODDER FAGS

I'm ZING it.
and im adding HYDROS...

I have it IN INK hydros were used in a large number of kustoms starting as early as 56... but progressively from 59 to 64.

I'm useing aircraft hydros 'vintage' with 4 inch lift rams it will go from the lay frame stage to 4" up max... no special functions other than up and down.

thats my story...

OK
I found these lowrider guys doing a search check ou the link

http://www.eternalrollerz.com/TechArticles/AircraftHydros.htm

Go to there main page they have alot of cool tech on this site.

I emailed Jay from that site and he gave me a shitload of awesome info...

Heres the bulk of his email:

If you are looking for two just two pumps go with two pesco 280's, two Adex
dumps ( looks just like Adel valves and they are new with a lifetime
warranty), two tanks, two check valves, two slowdown valves, two flow Eq's
and large diameter cylinders... I'd suggest the showtime torpedo cylinders (
available in many lengths)

check out http://www.hydros.envioustouch.com/    they sell pumps and various
other parts that you will need. You can contact Nicky over there, he is very
helpful and sells parts that are in great condition and fair pricing. He has
the pumps, tanks, slowdowns, Eq's and checks you will need. He can save you
the headaches of tracking parts and  worry of parts that might not work...
all his stuff is good and ready to go.. As far as the dump valves Adex
valves are available from many of the hydraulic shops popular with lowriders
of today... you can get the valves in a authentic aircraft finish or
chrome..

If you have any other questions I'll be happy to answer them for you... also
come and join the forum at http://www.hydros.biz
