Chevy Truck "Standard" Air Cleaners

2 different styles are pictured, more than likely 54 and earlier trucks would have them.

I would take either style.

Mr Bling
I am sure those were used on cars in the late 40's  but they had a mesh filter that did not keep the dirt out, looks like they put some paper filter on them
I run them on my dual carb set up in 1964 with the mesh filters

Yes they ran them with a copper mesh element, I put paper filters in them.  I haven't seen them on any cars though I guess.

I would think I took them off a 46 and 47 chev, unless i found some in a junkyard, but not likely that I would go out and buy any
of course when I was 16 year old those cars were 15 year old so there was a lot of them out there
I have not seeen anything like those seince
but I just thought of a guy that could have a few he had a dual carb set up and a racing chev 6 cyl
AND YES I WANT TO PUT IT IN A CAR DONT ASK ABOUT THE REST
but I would check on some old air cleaners

Thanks but I came across a matching one.  They aren't cheap but luckily I've got less than $30 into all 3 of the ones I got.
