Need contact info for Elite Trim in Fargo
« on: October 31, 2009 7:28 pm »
A friend is looking to have some seats recovered and was looking to get ahold of them at Elite Trim.  The phone number that he has doesn't work.  Does anybody have their phone number or info on them?

Thanks.  Neal

Elite Trim has gone out of business.  Deke decided it was time to retire.

I talked to Deke on Thursday. He's not exactly out of buisness, but he is "retired" and is only taking on small, easy projects to do at his leisure(my vinyl top was too big a job). I think Billy's is the only game in town now.

Maybe this project is something that he would be interested in.  It is a couple of bucket seats to be recovered.  Would anyone have a contact phone number for Deke?  Maybe shoot me a pm since it would be his personal number.

Thanks again.

Neal

Brand new Consew 206RB - about $1200.  I would say about $2000 (with a machine) for equipment. The materials are pretty much as you go and are recouped with each job.  Pretty reasonable to equip and start a trade.

It's the experience and talent that can take some time and $ to get.

Sadly, it's a dying art.....some one should grab onto.  Go for it Joel.

I didn’t know you needed a degree to do upholstery.  :)

Deke will give you a deal on a turn-key buisness if you want it. :)

I'd love it... the next student loan check should really go toward a worth-while investment like this, not a damn sheet of paper saying I memorized my war facts...  any idea of how good a deal?

I floundered around  as a high school droput  and decided to go to college at 35 years old, finished at age 42 thought about teaching and did not want to bow to the administration
and went back to self employment and i made about 12x more money than before I have never regreted the time to get a degree.. I did run my shop weekends  the whole time I went to school
I also continued to race cars too , could be why I had a slight suspension from MSU  ops a time out

now in retirement I am sanding and painting the floor pan on my rivera!! thats fun, and it is no less work with a degree!!!
