Sure looks good on the photo thread.  Did you see the thread on the old Chev PU with a topper beating everyone at the drags?

I had not seen that one Jake. I saw a nother one where he pulled the left front tire off the ground for a few feet. If it weren't for the wide tires in the rear you never guess.

was a little bumed that the Atomic Punk did not run faster
mostly wanted to leave the drags and the car overheated getting to the parking lot what a mess of cars and disorganization
met a ton of new people too, wanted to meet Lanney Erickson, but missed him, anyone here know him??

Bill Hines was ever the gentleman to pose with many for pictures
Barris was trying to crush any weomen he could get close too
the top chop was great, some real skill there

yes I would go again, but would like to have a fairly radical custom to do it

I am starting to refrain from doing things more than once as repetetion is just boring so I want to keep doing new things, just my way of thinking

I had that thought run through my mind, what if some young woman took Barris on ,   he would have to get up and get going, not very likely

He was walking through the motel lobby at the roadster show this passed Jan. He was having a hell of a time doing that......I couldn't see him doing anything else.

Poor George.  He doesn't get a lot of respect.

But I sure hope I can be squeezing women at 85.

Come to think of it, I just hope I'm alive at 85!

I hope I'm alive at 85 too.

I have respect for George as a car builder and promoter, I have more respect for his brother Sam, but come on..........he needs to have a little respect of women too. Some day he'll grab the wrong lady and I hope she slaps the old shit and knocks him on his ass.

poor old bent over Bill Hines  posed for many photos and him at  about 4 ft they  all got down on their knees so they would not tower over him and he never complained about anyones request
he was giving autographed decals free and I got one on the 53 dash now
and me being a little scotch on the $$ I paid Bill for a autographed photo
I never did talk to any of the others, bought a keyring from Mrs Starbird

I could not post any photos after the 4 and dont know how to do albums, but the Hines family Eldorado is quit the rig dual sidepipes on each side, looks like his son? did the driving

Eugene, AKA E. Please pass on a thank you to your wife, Marijo,  for the nice write up on the Suedes Run she did in Street Talkin'.

My wife said she hopes to meet her some day, she also enjoyed the story.

I read it at noon....always good for a chuckle or three.  I really get a kick out of her writing. I'm guessing "E" maybe gets a kick in the rear after some of the trips.
