cars and women

yes they all have some flaws, the 53 chev I just got is turning into a project and another money pit, just time to spiff up a few things that were not functioning too well, tune the engine, fix the water leaks on cooling and it goes on and on, seems like you are stoned trying to get this nickey pickey stuff done but I did drive it for a few days and it got about 12 mpg and rides ok, fixing wiring and a new spedo tomorrow, time to look at carb and do choke, add extra gauges under dash that work, bumpers? another water leak! set valves, more wiring, tunes, well at least the body is done
anyway the horn blows now, took the one off my collector car the alliance!!
anyone got a desoto grill??

Love that paint job!
The problem with having an artistic eye is that you always end up making more work for yourself. -Cleatus on the HAMB

Pretty cool! What are those? Look like wheel center covers.

Cool Rides, I think is the seller of all sizes and kinds of bullets, they have them a lot bigger too,  they are at back to the 50s  have a small catalog of some nice old style parts and they make laminated dash knobs, have skirts, nut covers and a lot of custom tailight lenses and a lot of other basically obselete parts
my catalog is in town, they sometimes advertise in the mags and seem to be a lot cheeper then Wirth
