from what i've been looking at s 10 springs are a good swap and will lower tha car some and are cheep round 60 a pair

The interior is REALLY nice, trying to preserve it so I dont have to mess with it. Stock is two tone green vinyl.

So, got some work done on the Ford this weekend, nothing real exciting, but got the motor in place and notched the K-member for the trans. I made some templates to build a transmission mount off of the stock K-member. I had to grind the hell out of the driver side exhaust manifold to clear the steering box. I don't know if it is enough yet, as the motor will torque towards it, but we'll see when it gets closer to that point. Good news is that the Lincolns 302 oil pan clears the front crossmember really nice and have an ideal amount of room for fan and radiator, etc.

I used the stock Lincoln motor mounts and just opened up the holes a little bit in the mount towers on the frame. Was pretty slick. It looks like I have just enough room to pull the oil filter off without needing a remote filter. Here are a couple pics I took:

The one is the notch I made in the K-member. The other is the amount I needed to remove from the exhaust manifold

I like flames, but I have always loved scallops. For some reason they just seem to say 50's.
