Chevy 6 Parts!

Hey i am looking to build a 292 or 250 chevy six banger. for sure looking for a good head for a 250. i have a complete 250 right now just has a shitty head. i would like to build a 292 but it is not imperative. anyone got a running 292 or 250 they need to get rid of??? or any speed parts will do too.  i will have my pickup truck up at the drags, could possibly get it then???

oh yes and i almost forgot...i am looking for a transmission/clutch too, i would potentially like a 5 sp. from an s10???  if it will work with an inline 6 cyl.? anyone know? i would like to run at least a 4 sp, but 5 would be good. i have a 3 sp. right now that was with the 250, and that is my last resort.

A T-5 is what comes in S10s and in 80s camaro & firebirds.  It is a popular swap for inline sixes.  Fox body mustangs also had the T-5 but I think there is more work involved in using them.  www.stovebolt.com would be a good place to find info for the swap.
