Pileup BOUND!

As you all (should) know. The Hunnert Car Pileup is October 13 in Morris, Ill. I was just seein who all on here is going and are you takin your car? We will be leaving Thursday, the 11th and heading down to Mantorville to meet up with Tim Gangl and whoever rides with him. Leaving there Friday morning and (hopefully) dead-heading to Morris.
So.....whos in?

I am in with the Studebaker with dad as my copilot.

The plan was to haul the Mod and parts for the swap. But the trans on my pickup is sick so I'm not sure at this time what I'm taking.

One shop gave me and estimate to replace it with a new one ...... $3692.00  :shock:

OOOOOOO.....sorry Brian.....you are only alowd to attend the Pileup 2 years in a row without a car and then it is mandatory to drive.....I'll take some pics for ya!:)

I really want to make it this year but just starting my new job, it sounds like I'll be working every Friday and Saturday through the rest of the year, and being on probation for it I can't really miss.  The good news of that is I should have the money to have my truck or a car ready to go down for next years.

Financial Reasons and the fact that i was Denied Friday Vacation will keep me from going this year.  Not having vacation friday really was the last nail in the coffin.

I may still make the roadster swap.

I am going one way or another for sure. For sure. Wife's going to seattle that weekend. I can't leave until 1pm on friday, however. I can pay fuel costs or ride for free, or any other way to get there. . . maybe even drive my own. Fat chance on my car being done though, so I'm holding out for one of the first two ways of attending.
