I have been doing some cutting and welding on the body to fix some of the trouble areas.  
I just got my distributor back from bubbas hot rod shop.  I had a chevy mallory distributor with the 2 piece cap machined and worked over for a flathead with a merc timing cover.  It sure looks like a nice product.  I still have to put a set screw into the timing cover to hold the dist. in place.
The flywheel came back from the machine shop too, I had it re drilled for a 9 inch pressue plate.
I have been doing little odds and ends too numerous to list but I am making progress.

Here is a pic of the intake I am running, an Edelbrock 4x2. 4 Stromberg 81's are rebuilt.. banjo fuel fitting installed and clamps made.  I still have to make the block off plate for the fuel pump.

just a quick update
I got the brakes system done.
I have mounted the fuel pump, a holley red, and fuel filter, a Fram HGP1 to the inside frame rail.
I am currently working on the electrical system.
