Very cool, Jake.

What do you guys think became of these cars? Some may be out there waiting to be brought back to their former glory.

I can imagine an add in a trade paper "old car for parts or scrap" and stumbling onto one of these treasures   8)

Thanks jake. Pinstriper, you like the '40 with the 4 headlights and the scooped rear fenders?  I had to turn the sound off when Andy Gibb or which ever Doobie brothers started singing though. Ouch. . .

And the power windows. . . GENIUS!

I took these a few years ago at BTTF. I think it's the same car from Jakes post.

Ryan, make you want to shoot some 'flake--candy--fades--scallops?

That pillarless sedan is the Lil Coffin.  Built in the early 60's, I think.  It was brought back to life in the last few years.  One of the mags did a feature on it in the last couple of years.  Do a search for it and you'll probably come up with all the info.  Nice color on the motor!

If you're interested, there are three more segments to the vid. Go to youtube.com and search Piston Poppers (Montreal car club) and you should come up with them.

I got a kick out of every one in suits/ties at the awards.  That was the early 60's.

 :)

The car pictured above is a clone.  The original, as far as I believe, was rebuilt and "up dated" in the late 80's or 90's and is now a street rod in a museum.
