Well, I stopped at Quality Engine Friday after work. Wayne had found a rocker arm assembly at some parts place and ordered it. We got the shaft! Literally, that's all that came. I guess the term "assembly" means something else to that parts shop. Wayne said he was sorry and Saturday Rob and I took off for Al's at Glyndon. About 10 minutes after we got there we left with the prized parts. Actually, we took the whole front half shaft and rockers. We got home, threw the new rocker on, started her up and it runs great. No more thick cloud of blue smoke. Rob finished buffing out the paint, set the timing, put on the new Pioneer plates and started cruising. We still have to put the shocks on, but the Chevy's on the road and looking good. I heard on the radio this weekend that United Electric is having their show Wednesday night so we're planning on having the Chevy and the '65 Polara there.
