'54 Chevy Parts Source
« on: August 17, 2010 6:12 pm »
Anybody know of any places carrying replacement parts for '53-'54 Chevy cars.  Mostly need patch panels and rockers, glass, bumper and grill pieces. Did a search but only came up with one company and they didnt carry much of anything for '53-'54.

EMS, Chevs Of The 40s, National Chevy.

What do you need for bumper and grill pieces?  I got a parts car that came with my 54, its got the front clip, I'm going to use the grill teeth, and I think the passengers side bumper piece, and the upper grill bar.

I gotta check again tonight, I think I came across a parts car too for next to nothing. May have the front parking light housings I need. Mine are rusted through. I think I might be able to save the front bumper but gotta look again. Mine was a little tweaked. My passengers fender is pretty rough too but the parts car looks to have good ones. Everything else I think can be fixed with patch panels and the floors I can make myself. Thanks for the info, I checked out EMS and they seemed to have everything I was looking for and I actually found new side glass on Ebay for reasonable. I'll let you know if there is anything else I might need after I take a look at the parts car I found. Thanks for the info for I know nothing about Chevys.

If you end up with that parts car let me know.  I wouldn't mind a third set of grill teeth.  It's still a ways away from 47 but I think it'll do.

Thanks Tracy, I'll see if I can find something on the net about them. I appreciate the help.
