Died. Sounds like quite a guy.

"It was such a treat because he's such a nice and intelligent man, like talking to a friendly drag racing encyclopedia - if that makes any sense". He was also opinionated, stubborn, emotional, a perfectionist and loyal to a fault... an incredible package of brains and talent.

Damn. . . my idea of the perfect way to live.

Damn. This is NOT the way I wanted to go into the weekend. I know he was quite sick and not expected to make it. But he was pretty stubborn the last few weeks. God Speed Pat, you're among good company, now.

With the cars and bikes that Cole had built I had head of him, but Pat was into drag racing and I didn't know anything about him till he got sick.

Pat foster built and drove the Barry Setzer flopper funny car. amoung many many others.
