Hemi Lifter Wanted
« on: August 17, 2007 9:28 pm »
Just broke one of the lifters in my 331.  Need one (1) stock lifter from a 1952 Chrysler 331 Hemi.  (I actually only need the very top piece where the spring goes around). Don't know what years they were all used in. HotHeads sells a shorter replacement with longer pushrods but they run $300 for the setup. Would rather try to find a used one for now. Below is a pic for reference. It's the one on the right.  These haven't been available for years so if you got a used one laying around let me know the price. Thanks, Flatheaded

Ended up making the part that I needed and sent it out and had it heat treated. Should work, I hope.  Will know in a couple of weeks. Still finishing up some odds and ends on the motor then we're gonna try and fire it. Turns over ok. Thanks Overspray for the leads, he wasn't much help though. Hopefully will have everything ready for Toppers.
