Hope someone gets jail time. The city should seize the property and put up a memorial. That would teach the greety bastards.

I hope the city will hold the people who did this responsible, but I doubt it. It was probably done on purpose. Once the damage was done alot of the resistance would go away. Easier to pay some fines than fight public opinion. I was there on a late Sat night in 1987. The place was very busy even at 1 am. Serious was there too,he was 8 yrs old and fell asleep in the car and missed it. I wasn't even aware of the history of the place at the time! On that same trip we went to Ascot Speedway which is now also history. Progress can really suck.

Yup,that's where we stopped. We had been cruising Hollywood Blvd checking out all the late night freaks and cool cars when our guide, my brother in-law,took us out there. It was called Johnnies then. I had a hot pastrami sandwich and onion rings. The heartburn damn near killed me!
